EDP University Challenge 2011

Following the success achieved by previous editions, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 the EDP University Challenge (and since EDP in 2009 has developed the EDP University Challenge and also in Spain and Brazil in since 2010) EDP decided to launch this year's EDP University Challenge 2011, which is for students, giving them the opportunity to apply their knowledge in developing new projects and new ideas in the areas of strategy and marketing.

The EDP University Challenge 2011 has the motto "EDP and Energy Efficiency Plan - Marketing and Communication".

What is EDP University Challenge 2011?

It is an annual university competition, with the aim of encouraging people to apply their academic knowledge in the academic development of a theme / project within the strategy and marketing and communications.

Considering the importance of a close relationship and partnership between companies, universities and society in general, the aim is the participation of students and teachers while capitalizing on its spirit of innovation, creativity and challenge in order to develop projects around mote "EDP and Energy Efficiency Plan - Marketing and Communication".

We want to give opportunity to the participants of this challenge, to put into practice the knowledge they have been acquiring throughout their academic career. This is one way of EDP supporting the education of our students, encouraging them to interact with the reality of the business world and society in general.

We invite you therefore to participate in this challenge!

Projects to develop

As mentioned, the issue of work / projects to be developed revolves around the brand EDP. In the contest rules may find a number of suggested topics that could be adopted by groups, not mandatory that the groups are restricted to the suggestions given.

Entries will be judged by an independent jury, composed of academics, staff of the EDP area of strategy and marketing consultants PremiValor Consulting and other role models.

Prize

Will be awarded a merit award for the best work. The group winner will receive a scholarship worth 10,000 euros and a research grant in the amount of 3,500 euros to the teacher who accompanied the group on the work.

Members of the winning group will have the possibility of an internship of three months in EDP in the main geographical areas in which we operate (Portugal, Spain and Brazil).
