VinSaudeMAC - Evaluation of the biological effects of red wines in the prevention of atherosclerotic diseases, cancer and neurological diseases - the implementation of technological process of wine making to maximize the level of antioxidants in wines.

Caracterization:

The project is based on the study and appreciation of the Verdelho wines variety produced in the 3 regions. The study involves monitoring the ripeness of the grapes in order to control the formation of polyphenols and other compounds of interest and determine the impact of the effects of soil and climatic influences in the 3 regions and the harvest date.

Observations:

Project with the financial implementation started in May 2009.
