EURAXESS Dissemination Session - Thursday 7 April 2011
Within the scope of “A Mobility Strategy for Researchers in the European Research Area” the European Commission, in close co-operation with the Members States of the European Union, launched EURAXESS. EURAXESS aims to provide customised assistance to researchers and their families in all matters relating to their mobility experiences (visa, work permits, taxes, social security, medical care, accommodation, school for their children, ...).
EURAXESS Services is a European Network of more than two hundred Mobility Centres located in 35 European countries. The objective of this Network is to improve the overall environment of researchers in Europe in order to attract and maintain a high level of human resources in research.
University of Madeira is a member of EURAXESS – EURAXESS Services Mobility Centre - aiming to assist all foreign researchers who intend to develop their research activities in Autonomous Region of Madeira.
